Sweet Almond Oil 148EGP incl. VAT Sold By : Sensera Aromatherapy
Type: Carrier oil Size: 50ml Product description: The name “Almond” is believed to be a mix between both the French word “almande” and the Greek word “amydala.” The name “Almond” is believed to have the same origin as the word “Amygdala,” the part of the brain that controls the ability to make decisions, develop memories, and process emotions. The Almond is also Known as the “King of Nuts,” improves and strengthens cognitive functions. Sweet Almond Carrier Oil is derived from the ripe seeds/kernels of Almond fruits by cold pressing, which preserves the oil’s quality by protecting it from heat. The Sweet variety of Almond Oil is derived from only the sweet, edible Almonds of the botanical known as Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis, which grows white flowers. The Almond belongs to the same stone fruit family as plums, cherries, peaches, nectarines, and apricots. It has traditionally been used in confections such as candies, baked goods, and other desserts, in main dishes such as curries, and in remedies to address physical ailments. Ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic practices have used almond oil for centuries to help soothe and soften the skin and to treat minor wounds and cuts. Today, it’s not uncommon to find almond oil in a wide variety of cosmetic and beauty products. 1. Benefits: 1. Reduce Skin Irritation and Dry Skin: Almond oil can be used to calm your skin in times of need. Whether you’re dealing with itchiness, superficial skin burns, dry skin and swelling or something more clinical like psoriasis or eczema, almond oil can soothe the irritation as a quick fix before finding a more permanent solution. Applying it topically to the areas of need adds an extra dose of moisture, relieving any irritation your skin may be experiencing. 2. Calms Inflammation and Acne: Being non-comedogenic, anti-bacterial, and non-greasy, this medium-light lubricant has a quick absorption rate that is ideal for use in facial care, massages, and on skin that is sensitive or acne-prone. Thanks to its Zinc and retinoid content, it’s very useful for acne patients, it is an alternative to harsher ingredients, because it not only dissolves excess oil on the face, but also decreases inflammation.” 3. Skin Rejuvenation: Almond oil can be used to revitalize and rejuvenate your skin when it’s looking a bit dull or tired due to its Vitamin A & Omega 3 content. Almond oil contains softening properties that come in handy when your skin isn’t looking its best. As well as Almond oil stimulates collagen Production. 4. Evens Skin Tone and Improves Complexion: It can even out your skin tone and improve the complexion over time, revealing a new and improved version of your skin. 5. Sun Protection: Almond oil can protect your skin from the sun as well as reverse any damage or skin aging that has happened to your skin as a result of exposure to UV rays due to its Vitamin E content. This isn’t to say you should skip SPF altogether, but mixing in a bit of oil can increase your sun protection benefits while also giving you a glow. 6. Provides Anti-Oxidants: It’s also another form of environmental protector: Almond oil has high concentrations of vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorus, and copper, and therefore is a rich antioxidant. 7. The softened skin can handle stretching more than untreated skin. 8. Hydrates Skin: Applying almond oil to your skin is a great way to lock in moisture and keep your skin glowing all day long. Be sure to patch test the essential oil on the inside of your elbow or wrist before applying to your face. Add a few drops of the essential oil to each ounce of almond oil and mix well. Moisturizer: wash and dry your skin as usual. Then, gently pat a small amount of almond oil — about half the size of a dime — onto your face with your fingertips, and let it absorb into your skin. If you’re using it as a moisturizer, you don’t need to rinse it off. ** A blend of rosewater and almond oil is excellent as a skin nourishment. It can be used as a face and body moisturizer as well 4. After leaving it on the skin for 1 hour, it can be rinsed off with water. Applied all over the face, Almond Oil promotes the regeneration of new skin cells, thereby making skin appear to be rejuvenated and slowing the appearance of aging. 6. To exfoliate rough skin: Sweet Almond Oil can be mixed with fine sugar to create a natural scrub that can be used on the face or the body to gently but deeply cleanse pores and prevent future acne breakouts. Simply mix the two ingredients together, apply it in a gentle, circular motion to the skin to remove dirt and dead skin cells, then rinse it off with water. This treatment can be applied every week to achieve skin that looks revitalized and radiant. 7. To enhance the body’s overall systems: A blend of 90 ml of Almond Oil and 5 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil can be used in a massage twice a week. For massaging sore muscles with optimal results, first heat the Sweet Almond Carrier Oil until it is almost too hot to touch and apply the hot oil to the affected areas. Cover the area with a hot, damp towel for half an hour to draw out toxins. Applying Almond Oil topically in skin care or in a massage can prevent skin from losing moisture and can relax tight, tired muscles. 8. Hair Treatment: Add 2 drops of Almond Oil and 1 drop of Rosemary Essential Oil to a natural shampoo can uplift the mood and naturally reduce hair loss by addressing scalp conditions that contribute to hair fall, such as dandruff. **To strengthen and repair damaged or brittle hair: Apply the oil to damp hair immediately after washing it with a mild natural shampoo and towel drying it. Rub the oil between the palms, then apply it to the scalp and hair, ensuring that each strand is evenly coated. Allow the hair to air dry, and the result will be manageable hair that retains shine and is free from knots. **Moisturizing Hair Mask: If your hair is dull and rough from sun exposure, overprocessing, or heat-styling, take the hydration to a deeper level by using pure almond oil and avocado as a moisturizing hair mask. “Mash up an avocado and mix with 1-2 tablespoons of almond oil to create a smoothing hair mask. Apply to dry or damp hair and leave on for approximately 30 minutes. Follow by rinsing your hair and shampooing and conditioning as usual. **Hair Mask for Dry Hair: For extra dry or damaged hair, try mixing almond oil with equal parts olive oil and applying to your hair with a wide-tooth comb from root to ends. Rinse, wash and style as usual for hair with extra luster and softness. 9. Nail Treatment: To strengthen and thicken nails that are thin and brittle, warm a small amount of Sweet Almond Carrier Oil and apply 1 drop to the nail, massaging it into the cuticle. Repeating this vitamin-rich treatment weekly will result in clearer, smoother, healthier nails. 10. Treat Problems related to Circulation (varicose veins and spider veins): For a massage blend that will relieve or reduce the appearance of these issues, blend 30 ml of Almond oil with 2 drops of Garlic Essential Oil and heat the mixture. Gently massage the warm blend into the affected areas. For optimal results in pain relief, place a hot water bag over the area and leave it on for 10 minutes. 11. To soothe rashes and inflammation: Dip a few fingers into a small amount of Sweet Almond Carrier Oil and apply it directly to the affected areas, leaving it on until it is completely absorbed by the skin. 12. Entomologists say they can crawl through hair at 12 miles a minute. This means they can easily be spread to other members of the family by head-to-head contact. As soon as one member of the family gets them, you will need to check other family members and friends. 4.Essential oils can and will work if you follow our suggestions ***Why it is not recommended to use chemical-based head lice treatments for your children and alternatively go to the aromatherapy direction? The chemical-based head lice treatments actually contain pesticides that are neurotoxins and proven carcinogens. They have also been linked to skin rashes and breathing problems including asthma. So why would we want to overwhelm our children’s heads in these toxic substances, particularly when research shows that ‘super head lice’ are becoming resistant to these pesticides.Remember our skin absorbs trace elements of what we put on it – aromatherapy is partly based on this principle – so why take the risk with these toxic substances, especially if they don’t work! NOTE: Lice can be transmitted through brushes, combs, hats, pillowcases, bed sheets, blankets, clothes, soft toys, hair bands, ties and caps. Therefore, it is very important to wash these objects frequently in hot water with a temperature over 60 degrees in order to kill the lice; to avoid a new infestation or even spread the parasite to another person

Improves signs of aging 2. Combats skin dryness 3. Increase firmness and suppleness of the skin 4. Moisturizing and Hydrating **Detailed benefits of each component is listed below **2% Sodium Hyaluronate • What is Sodium Hyaluronate? Sodium Hyaluronate is an all-natural water soluble form of Hyaluronic acid. • Is Sodium Hyaluronate The Same Thing As Hyaluronic Acid? Hyaluronic Acid: occurs naturally in the human body and works to support the body’s collagen production and to help maintain elasticity. This natural molecule is specifically found in the hair, skin, eyes, nerves, and in the lubricating liquid substance between the joints and tissues. Sodium Hyaluronate, an all-natural water-soluble form of Hyaluronic Acid, works in a similar way, offering better skin penetration and stability. The added gain when using Sodium Hyaluronate is that it penetrates the skin more easily than Hyaluronic Acid.  The difference is due to two main factors: stability and ability to penetrate.  Sodium hyaluronate (salt form) is a more stable version of hyaluronic acid.  Additionally, sodium hyaluronate has a lower molecular size.  What this means is while hyaluronic acid hydrates the surface of the skin, sodium hyaluronate is able to absorb more effectively and penetrate deeper.  “Sodium hyaluronate might penetrate the skin more readily, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that one is better than the other in terms of effect,” • WHAT DOES SODIUM HYALURONATE DO FOR THE SKIN? High molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid hydrates only the top layer of skin. Low molecular weight and water-soluble form (Sodium hyaluronate) hydrates even the deeper layers of skin, helping to plump out the look of fine lines for a smoother appearance. It is used as an alternative to hyaluronic acid, which doesn’t easily penetrate the skin when applied topically. Cosmetics enriched with Sodium Hyaluronate help to effectively restore the skin’s moisture with natural hydration, promoting a more youthful complexion. Its water-holding ability – specifically its natural capacity for holding water that is 1000 times its weight – makes it an exceptional hydrating agent. It also promotes better blood circulation, nutrient absorption and wound healing and thus a popular ingredient in the cosmetic industry; this constituent is widely used in rejuvenating skincare products intended to address the appearance of wrinkles. • What are the benefits of Sodium hyaluronate? 1. Repairs a compromised moisture barrier: Easily and deeply penetrate the skin to help it retain moisture for increased firmness and suppleness, resulting in a revitalized appearance. 2. Combats skin dryness: As a humectant, it pulls in water from the air and helps to retain moisture to keep your skin hydrated and flake-free. 3. Relieve itching due to dehydrated and irritated skin. Smooth the appearance of wrinkles and generally improve the texture of skin. 4. Improves acne-prone skin: Gentle enough for use on most skin types, including acne-prone types. Due to its wound healing properties, it will help prevent scarring. 5. Improves signs of aging: Replace the skin’s natural Hyaluronic Acid content, which diminishes with age, exposure to UV radiation, and various other environmental factors that lead to gradual moisture loss. 6. Plumps: Promote the look of replenished facial volume by causing the skin to appear swollen/plumper, which helps reduce the look of fine lines. 7. Leaves a non-greasy glow: It has a lightweight feel and imparts a dewy finish without leaving a thick, greasy residue. 8. Helps eczema: since the ingredient is so gentle, it’s safe to use on sensitive skin and can be beneficial for severely dry skin types. 9. Restores skin post-procedure: use of sodium hyaluronate to hydrate after in-office procedures, such as lasers or micro-needling, which make the skin vulnerable. 10. Sodium Hyaluronate helps to increase a formulation’s stability and to reduce the probability of oxidization. 11. It promotes better blood circulation and nutrient absorption. Use it in conjunction with a nutrient rich moisturizer or serum to maximize the benefits of the products’ other ingredients. Briefly, it enhances the absorption and benefits of other nourishing ingredients in formulations. • Cautious: Sodium Hyaluronate is for external use only. It is imperative to consult a medical practitioner before using this product for therapeutic purposes. Jojoba Oil 148EGP incl. VAT Sold By : Sensera Aromatherapy
Type: Carrier oil Size: 50ml Product description: Jojoba oil is an oil-like wax extracted from the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) plant. The name Jojoba originates from the word Hohowi, a name given to the seeds – or the “beans/nuts” – by the O’odham, a Native American tribe that discovered the versatility of Jojoba seeds. The tribe created and used an anti-oxidant paste made from the nuts for skin and hair care purposes. In the 18th century, Native Americans ground Jojoba seeds into a cream to medicate the skin and condition the hair. For medicinal purposes, they used the nut paste or the oil to treat sores, wounds, and burns. It is closest to the oil produced by the human skin called ‘Sebum’ that helps protect and heal the skin from external toxins. It is the first defense barrier for the skin. Jojoba oil being the closest in construction to the human sebum is a natural replacement for it. When the body is unable to produce enough sebum to protect against harsh external elements, jojoba oil can be the perfect skincare solution. Jojoba plant has natural ways of protecting itself from sun damage. “Jojoba is the only plant in the world known to produce pure liquid wax esters. It layers these long molecules in the outer layer of its leaves to stop UVB rays from penetrating its leaves.” It can do the same to your skin. Jojoba oil is packed with therapeutic benefits that can do wonders for the hair and skin. One of the most highly stable carriers, it may go cloudy and thick in cool conditions but will return to its natural state once warmed. Sensera Aromatherapy will walk you step by step through the benefits of Jojoba oil and how to include its benefits in your daily rituals. Benefits: 1. Retains Moisture: Jojoba oil is a humectant. This means that it works to seal your skin with a protective barrier to keep it from losing moisture without clogging the pores, allowing for a healthy skin type. This may help prevent bacterial infections, acne, and dandruff from forming. 2. Antibacterial Properties: Jojoba oil contains antimicrobial and antifungal properties. 3. Antioxidant Properties: Jojoba oil contains natural forms of vitamin E. This vitamin works with your skin as an antioxidant. This means that jojoba oil can help your skin fight everyday exposure to pollutants and other toxins. 4. Noncomedogenic (It won’t clog pores): Jojoba oil is so similar to the oil (sebum) your body naturally produces that your skin can’t tell the difference. This makes it less likely to build up on your skin and clog your pores, leading to fewer breakouts and less severe acne. 5. Hypoallergenic: Jojoba oil is a wax. Although it can be absorbed into your skin, its waxy nature allows it to create a soothing seal on the surface. It is typically nonirritating. Allergic reaction is rare. 6. It helps control sebum production: Jojoba oil regulates sebum production because it’s so similar to the sebum that your body produces naturally. When you put jojoba oil on your skin, your skin is soothed and moisturized. This sends a signal to your hair and sweat follicles that your skin doesn’t need additional sebum for hydration. This keeps skin from looking oily and helps prevent acne caused by clogged pores. 7. Balances Oily Skin: When skin is stripped of its natural sebum (via things like using a non-pH balanced cleanser), the sebaceous glands can go into overdrive. This creates a vicious cycle of oil overproduction—and over-cleansing—leading to breakouts. Jojoba can reset your complexion by bringing back balance. 8. It may help promote collagen synthesis: The antioxidants in jojoba oil may help your body produce collagen. Collagen is a protein that’s in your skin and joints as well as the parts of your body made of cartilage. Collagen levels decrease as you get older. This is part of the reason your facial structure changes as you age. Antioxidants in Jojoba oil applied to the skin improve collagen synthesis. 9. It may help speed up wound healing: Jojoba oil is a promising ingredient in stimulating wound healing. Jojoba oil encourages your skin cells to bind together after they’ve been separated by a scratch or cut. This may also be the reason for its ability to treat acne and acne scarring. These wound-healing properties could be connected to jojoba oil’s concentration of natural vitamin E. 10. It may help soothe eczema, psoriasis, and other drying skin conditions: Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Topical application may help relieve dryness, flaking, itching, and related symptoms. People who have inflammatory skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema may find jojoba oil especially beneficial. 11. It may help soothe sunburns: Jojoba oil is a popular ingredient in some natural sunscreen products. Vitamin E, when combined with other antioxidants, can help protect your skin from sun damage. Jojoba oil contains both. Sun damage can dehydrate your skin and cause flaking. Jojoba oil restores vitamin E, adds moisture, and promotes healing to soothe these symptoms of sunburns. 12. Treats skin burns: Jojoba soothes any burnt skin by going deeper into the tissues and healing them, this helps the pain after a sunburn or tan. With its natural healing properties Jojoba oil is helpful in reducing skin burns during shaving. 13. It may help treat acne: Jojoba oil can help keep acne at limit. Jojoba oil has soothing anti-inflammatory agents, healing properties, is moisturizing, and is a natural antimicrobial. These properties suggest that jojoba oil could help you avoid breakouts as well as promote healing for mild acne. Because jojoba oil is able to penetrate all the way down to the skin matrix, it can help active ingredients like salicylic acid and retinol along with it, allowing them to do their best work. 14. It may help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles: There’s no research that links jojoba to treating wrinkles and fine lines directly, but other plant products with antioxidant properties have been shown to improve the elasticity of skin. This means that the antioxidant power of jojoba oil may help slow the signs of aging when used on your skin. 15. It may help minimize the appearance of scars: Vitamin E has long been recommended by health professionals to help with scarring. Jojoba oil’s natural wound-healing properties combined with its vitamin E content, could minimize the appearance of scars. 16. Prevents Hair loss and Promotes Hair Thickness: Because it strengthens hair, it is also thought that jojoba oil can prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness. The idea behind this is that the oil moisturizes hair follicles, which prevents dryness that leads to hair loss. Jojoba oil may indeed prevent hair breakage and strengthen your locks. It could also be helpful in treating dandruff, dry scalp, and itchy scalp. 17. For soft lips: Since our lips are thrice more sensitive than our usual skin, it needs all the care. Jojoba oil contains essential vitamins such as Vitamin B, E and key minerals such as zinc, copper which are beneficial for soft lips and skin. 18. Prevents Cold Sores: Jojoba is a cold sore preventative that really works. “The tingling people feel when a cold sore is emerging is the [herpes] virus moving up the nerve shaft feeding on oxygen. Jojoba applied to the area will quickly mix with skin sebum and block the flow of oxygen to the virus, which retreats back into the nerve shaft.” If jojoba is regularly applied the virus can never get the oxygen it needs to kick off. Jojoba also contains docosanol, which is an ingredient in commercial cold sore treatments. Directions of use: 1. Makeup Remover: Apply a small amount into your palm. Using your fingertips, gently apply the oil to the areas where you want to remove makeup. Then, use cotton balls or warm water to remove the oil. Follow by washing your face with your favorite cleanser. Cotton Remover Pads: To make your own makeup removing pads, first place cotton rounds into a container and measure 4 tablespoons of Jojoba Oil. Pour the oil over the cotton rounds and allow them to sit and soak at least overnight. To use, gently wipe over your face to remove makeup. 2. Moisturizer: Jojoba oil is an oil-like wax extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant.
